Opened in April 2006, the hotel is the combination of a group project between PGA Vichy Catalan and "Golf Courses European." The existing hotel building process culminates four years of work, starting with a contest in May 2002. Winner of this contest goes a building project unit, curved, placed at the bottom of the site, which descends from the pine to adapt to the terrain. The building was developed by architects Uría Quarter Berta, Sergi Godia i Fran, Ignacio Montero López Alonso and Jon Madariaga. The aim: a towering hotel, stunning, modern, integrated into the landscape, ultimately, only one in your area.

Malagelada Pere was born in Figueres (Girona, Spain). Since his youth, upon completion of their studies at the School of Hospitality Vilamalla (Girona), had the opportunity to meet and work in different establishments as Alt Empordà Perelada Casino or Hotel Empordà (Michelin star). He continued his career in Barcelona at the prestigious Hotel Juan Carlos I until he moved to Andorra, where, as Executive Chef, coordinates and directs the kitchens of a chain of four hotels in Andorra. Back to his roots and more specifically the Meliá Golf Vichy Catalan for 34 years just to offer a creative cuisine, modern but not forgetting his Mediterranean roots. Avant-garde dishes, where the main objective is to enhance the flavors of their own products.
