El Buxaus is an 18th-century farmhouse located at an altitude of 800 m within the Montseny Nature Park. The garden is the site of a catalogued centuries-old cade juniper tree, very few of which are found on the Iberian Peninsula. Its privileged location offers extensive views of the plateau of La Selva, the Les Guilleries uplands and part of the Gironès district. The house has been painstakingly restored, maintaining its distinctive features and rustic style.
El Buxaus is a farmhouse with capacity to sleep 14 people, with a number of different communal areas for use by guests, including the old kitchen with its open fireplace, the lounge, with sofas and TV, and also the study and games room. The ground floor of the house contains the aforementioned rooms and has an open Wi-Fi area. The whole house is heated. All meals are served in the dining room, located in an annex, while the porch is used in the summer for alfresco eating. The swimming pool meadow alongside the large and a fully equipped porch are the most popular areas when the weather is warm. Our organic kitchen garden provides plentiful fruit and vegetables which we make use of in our home cooking.
