The departure and arrival point of this circular route is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Vilar in Blanes. This route combines stretches of forest track with some lovely footpath sections, climbing various hills before reaching the Iberian Settlement of Montbarbat.

This settlement is perched at the top of the mountain of the same name, at an elevation of 331 metres, overlooking the Catalan Coastal Range. Before you start heading back, enjoy the amazing views of the coast.
