The fastest route to La Selva by private vehicle is:

• From Barcelona:

– On the AP7 as far as junction 10 BV-5122 Hostalric/Blanes, continuing on the C35, GIV-5121, GI-555 and C-63
– On the C-32 towards Mataró/Girona and the N-II towards Girona E15, junction 2 towards Girona Airport and C-63 towards Santa Coloma de Farners.

• From further inland:

– In Lleida take the A-2, at Cervera turn off onto the C-25 via the A-2 or E-15

• From the rest of Europe: take the A-9/E-15 motorway, turn off at junction 8 in  Cassà and take the C-25 towards Santa Coloma de Farners.

Girona-Costa Brava airport, also referred to as “Barcelona (Girona)”, is some 15 km from Santa Coloma de Farners, the capital of the La Selva district.

A shuttle bus runs directly to Girona bus station, with ongoing connections to La Selva operated by TEISA. Barcelona Airport, also known as “El Prat”, is some 100 km from La Selva.

A bus service (Ràpid Aeroport – Alsa) runs to and from Girona. The stop is in front of the Joan Miró muralin Terminal B. Journey time to Girona: 1 hour 35 minutes.
