The Selva center
The Selva center is very marked by numerous thermal springs and the presence of the main access road to the Peninsula since ancient times, Via Augusta. Consequently it has inherited an ancient culture in the form of Iberian settlements, Roman baths, medieval castles and Romanesque churches.
The welfare culture is rooted in our land, thanks to the mineral-medicinal waters of many towns of the Selva such as Caldes de Malavella, Santa Coloma de Farners or Sant Hilari Sacalm; combined with a trip to the past through the heritage of a part of our history.
