Arbúcies Route

At several sites in the town centre - Arbúcies
Easy.  ·

Arbúcies boasts a combination of the heritage buildings commissioned by its wealthy summer residents, who were drawn to the quality of life offered by this valley located between the Montseny and Guilleries massifs, and those commissioned by the wealthy owners of country and forest estates. As such, the town centre contains several noteworthy examples of architectural heritage.

    • Can Badés (pg. Mn. Anton Serras, 9). Large farmhouse refurbished in the late 19th century. The most noteworthy features are two semicircular gazebos with large windows and Ionic columns, and a chapel. Today it is a restaurant. There are public gardens to the rear of the building (Mongé Park), where Santiago Rusiñol, who spent his summers in the town, found inspiration for some of his paintings.
