Breda town centre
In addition to its important mediaeval monastery, the town of Breda, set at the foot of the Montseny Massif, is well worth visiting for its modernist heritage.

- Can Vicentó (c/ Barcelona, 8). The first floor and the crowning are what remain of the original modernist building. Bare brick is used to decorate the lintels of the windows, the cornices and the merlons of the crowning, combined with cross-shaped vents and false bossage. Private. Shop on the ground floor. - Josep Aragay Museum (c/ Nou, 2). Housed in the former Church of Santa Maria, it contains a comprehensive collection of the works of local artist Josep Aragay, including paintings, drawings, engravings and, above all, ceramics.
