The itinerary begins at the Tossa de Mar sports complex, the site of the Welcome Point and also the Sa Riera Park, with its monumental trees (including the Pi Gran de Can Martí pine and the Roure de la Descàrrega oak), the recently restored wetlands and the Tossa de Mar watercourse. The layout of the entire route is mountainous, in the heart of the Cadiretes massif (a PEIN protected area), the landscape dominated by Mediterranean flora and also offering outstanding panoramic views of the coastal and inland areas.
