The is a route covering the middle and lower course of the River Tordera, linking up villages including Hostalric, Fogaras de la Selva and Tordera, or otherwise continuing as far as Blanes. The landscape through which the track runs includes several areas of natural and cultural interest associated with the river, such as the ponds in the Tordera district, the mediaeval heritage of Hostalric and others besides.

We suggest covering this route in just one day, walking the 22 kilometres alongside the waters of the River Tordera from Hostalric to Blanes, although it can also be covered in the opposite direction.
